Samuel Safa composed the tracks of the documentary “Les Mondes Perdus”

Les Mondes PerdusThe three-part series “Les Mondes Perdus” gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in a fascinating scientific adventure about ancient animal species, from their appearance to their extinction.

The adventure offers a mix of observations and prehistoric discoveries, experiences and new perspectives from scientists all around the world, illustrated by wonderful CGI images. This technology reveals a true exploit in order to give life to these captivating species.

Samuel Safa composed all the tracks of the documentary as well as the main theme which has been recorded by a symphony orchestra with the Scoring Orchestra. A making-of is already available with an interview of Samuel and you will soon find a new making-of the orchestra recording on the Samuel Safa Facebook page.

The trilogy is already available on DVD and Blu-Ray online and in your favourite point of sale. Driven by the success of the program abroad, the trilogy will be broadcast this Saturday 17th of December 2016 at 8:50 pm on Arte. Samuel Safa has vast experience composing music for film, video games, shows and musical comedy. A notable project was the short film by Mathilde Bayle “La Chambre du Nord” and the TV film “Soudains ses mains” by Emmanuel Gras. Samuel has also written for various documentaries, among which “A New Prehistory“, broadcast on Arte channel soon. His shows have been incredibly successful in France and overseas, and most recently he arranged and produced an album for Francis Lalanne: “Hommage à Léo Ferré”.

He’s been busy in the video games sector too; the most recent title to feature his music was “Kill the Bad Guy“, a thrilling puzzle game where you have to find ingenious ways of ridding the Earth of its worst criminals! The music is a perfect soundtrack to the game, skillfully mixing genres to convey the tension of the game universe while allowing the player to carefully consider his next move…
