FFA 2014 is almost over!

FFA_confThe “Festival du Film Francophone d’Angouleme” has been on since Saturday, 22. As each year, we’ve been partners with the festival, and we are glad to have welcomed Canal + in our studios. We also recognize Numericable’s initiative to create a FFA exclusive channel, and we hope you’ll be there next year, for even more innovations, and even more new movies! Here is this year’s program:

Voice and Motion Capture for Video Games

We have had an intense two weeks training here, dedicated to voice and motion capture for video games and animation. Les Ateliers Marie Trintignant, Solidanim and us have organised this two weeks training to help actors improve their knowledge and comprehension of the use of motion capture and voice recording for games.

This experience has been really interesting for both the trainees and the trainers! We will produce a small making-of with some shooting done during the training.

Back from the MIFA 2012

We are back from the renowned International Animation Film Market (Mifa) 2012, which is a major event in the world of animation and over the past 25 years has established itself as the leading event on the industry calender. We have had the pleasure to meet some old friends from the video game industry, and it is really interesting to observe that the cross-media / transmedia approach gets a bigger interest.

It was also the opportunity for us to discuss with the Magelis delegation, film and series producers from our region, and of course enjoy the beautiful lake surrounded by the alps mountains.
