Soir de fête (short 3D Film), audio post-production at GAF

January 5, 2013 in Corporate, Mix, Music, Slideshow, Sound Design

We have completed the audio post-production of the short 3D film “Soir de fête” produced by Filmo (Olivier Chantriaux) and directed by David Robert.

We have done the Foley recordings, the audio editing, and the mixing by Arnaud Roy. It was the perfect project to test our new metering multichannel system from Flux for loudness compliance.

We really enjoyed this fun short film, shooted in 3D. The shooting has been done in the region, and it was really fun to see some of our local voice actors in the film. This short movie will be shown on ARTE TV during 2013.

Count up to 10

First mathematical concepts

Game Audio Factory has produced the sound (sfx, music, multilingual voice recordings FR, US, ES) of the game Count up to Ten developed by Seven Academy, a young and promising French company dedicated to provide children with enjoyable early-learning activities using the latest technologies. It is an excellent complement to traditional schooling.

Your children will enjoy learning how to count up to ten with our 4 mini-games. Penguins show them the 10 numbers, the mole teaches them how to trace each digit, the ray waits for its guiding fish to swim, and the elephants hold each other by the tail to form groups. A wonderful world where kids can discover mathematics while having fun!

A Game Of Thrones RPG – Audio Review

July 11, 2012 in Localisation, Music, Sound Design, Video Games

Last month Game Of Throne RPG came out in Europe and we are happy to announce that our work has been well received so far !!

[EN] ” Much has been done on the french voice over and the result is affected. The casting is good, the tone is often right even if sometimes a bit caricatural, it is nonetheless a reflection of the characers. The music is modeled on the magnificent compositions by Ramin Djawadi among which are found also the haunting opening theme. ”

4/5 – Free Gamer

[EN] “We are pleased to find some of the iconic music of the saga which contributes greatly to immerse ourselves in this unique world. Newcomers will be also surprised by the sound effects. In Game of Thrones, the wounded scream, the blows are smacking on the metal shields … A very good point !

Generation Nouvelles Technologies

[EN] “The luck of the player also reflects the fact that the French Voice Overs are very well executed.

GamePad.fr

[EN] “The dialogues and acts are important, their repercussions are felt sometimes several chapters later but more importantly, the story is gripping, well written, well lined, nicely accompanied by a soundtrack discreet but effective.
