Cyril Jegou has just arrived in the studio. He has been hired during the summer to be the new Operations Manager of Game Audio Factory.
With a solid background in the TV and Cinema industries, he is adding new skills to the company.
During the last four years, he has been an Operations manager in the post-production department of Euromedia France, one of the European Leader in the broadcast industry.

The Endless Legend OST by FlyByNo is out, and believe us, it is huge!
The game developed by Amplitude is about to be released, on the 18th of September.
It has been a long and fascinating mission for the Game Audio Factory team, we have been involved in many steps of the development processes of the game (sound design, music, integration, teasers, localisation…) and believe us, this game is magnificent!

Styx: Master of Shadows is an infiltration game with RPG elements from Cyanide Studio. GAF Team worked hard on this project – H-Pi handled music production and strings recording, Gery managed the integration and was Lead Sound Designer, and we finally recorded US voicing with the same cast as Of Orcs and Men, respecting the license. A making-of is in progress and the OST will be available in our bandcamp.
About the game:
Guide Styx through the winding Tower of Akenash, home to a Treeworld, source of the Amber – a powerful golden sap filled with magical properties – prowling through the shadows with aide of a host of special abilities refined throughout Styx’s 200 years of history. Within the many hallways and levels of the Tower of Akenash, Styx must avoid the humans who’ve the ability to easily overpower him. With Amber running through his veins, what Styx lacks in might he more than makes up for with stealth, as the golden elixir – often heavily guarded – raises his perception, sharpens his senses, and even offers the ability to turn him invisible for short periods of time. Styx’s lust for the Amber produced by the Treeworld is matched only by Governor Barimen’s charge to protect it; with little help from Styx’s mysterious shadowy allies, it is our Goblin friend alone who can uncover the secrets of the tower.

We are looking for a singer like Lisa Gerrard (Gladiator, Dead Can Dance, etc.) for a recording that will take place on Wednesday, May 28th, in Paris from 5:30pm to 6:30pm for several musical tracks of a game developed by Amplitude. The casting will take place on Friday, May 23rd in Paris and will be based on the performance of a music of the game you can listen here: track with vocals / instrumental.
You can also sing a theme of your choice a capella. The casting will be filmed and in studio conditions. The selected voice will be paid with a usual performance fee.
Please send your application at firstname.lastname@example.org with an audio/video link of a concert or a rehearsal (Youtube for example) and a CV or a bio.
After this first selection, you will receive the sheet music and will be asked to attend the casting.

Orcs and Humans compete in the very first match of Blood Bowl 2!
Blood Bowl 2, the sequel to Blood Bowl, the video game developed by Cyanide studios based on the famous board game created by Games Workshop, presents the frenetic action of its very first match on video!
The commentary is provided by the double act and undisputed kings of the mic, Jim Johnson and Bob Bifford, and this first Blood Bowl 2 video sees two iconic Blood Bowl teams enter the pitch; the Humans of the Reikland Reavers and the orcs of Gouged Eye will kick the next season off that promises to be sensational!
Game Audio Factory is contributing to Cyanide development by providing music production, sound design, voice overs and localisation for this brand new episode of Blood Bowl.

A sonic marketing strategy is a must today, to develop the identity of a brand, a place, a product.
The attendees were really delighted by discovering all the steps involved in such sonic development.

- You manage the studio workload plan and lead a multi-site team
- You are in charge of the customer relations management
- You implement the necessary means to conduct projects
- You are bringing ideas to optimize the studio
- You contribute to projects realization
- Experience of 4 years in post-production
- Very good abilities in communication, diplomacy
- Good experience in team management
- Methodical, organized
- Perfect communication skills in English
- You are experienced in all Broadcast post-production steps (sound effects, sound editing, voice recording, mix, lab) in animation, documentary, fiction.
- You are mastering the Lab technical operations and requirements (conformations, harmonization, encoding, EBU/R128 standards)
- Comfortable with operations tools of a professional studio (NAS, backups, network management, emails, wiki, etc.)
- Experience in video games would be a plus but is not necessary (internal training possible)
- Permanent contract/Temporary contract in Angoulême (France)
